The Elverson Antique Show and Sale was started in 1969 as a fundraiser for the Elverson Fire Company and held in their firehouse. With the demolition of the old firehouse, the show has moved to the Twin Valley High School, about two miles from the original location. The show is held in the gym and some of the proceeds from the show have gone to support the school’s athletic program.

The show is rooted in the “good old days” of smaller shows with friendly, knowledgeable dealers and reasonable prices. The dealers come from Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Virginia, New Hampshire, and Maryland. The emphasis is on American country furniture and accessories that complement the historic feel of the area, as well as more modern tastes. It has a reputation as a terrific buying show for both dealers and collectors.
